  1. My new life thus far:

    1 year ago (Thu, Nov 4th, 2010)

Well it’s going to be hard to sum all of it up. But here it goes.

I left Tallahassee Florida on my best friend’s birthday (sorry again, Evan) and had an amazing smooth 14 hour drive to Tulsa,OK. we arrived to an old friend who now looks like Jesus in an OCC hoodie. He was extremely amazing, for the next 6 days he would take us around town bought 90% of our meals and showed us everything amazing in the city.On top of this when we went back to his house his parents made food for us and we played music together and some halo reach.

Some of the days I would go out on my own in the morning, but most of the time I would bring phoenix when John was in school/bed and I went to places I remember as a kid, including my elementary school, the apartment I lived in, both churches I went to while I lived there and some old spots I used to walk ( the top of this massive hill that has a church on it.)

on the last day I got up super early and prayed then watched TV for the first time in almost a month, when john and phoenix got up we did a kind of quick lunch at Buffalo wild wings. The meal was really really good, but john had a heaviness so it was a bit of a bitter sweet departure.

We then drove what google said would be a 4 hour 5 min drive from Tulsa to Grandview in about 3 hours flat. Not sure how that happened, but I liked it, and we beat 5 o’clock traffic.

We arrived at Ben and Liz’s house and there was still a welcome sign for the new baby and it was just above freezing outside (I don’t like the cold…but I guess I will learn to)When we got inside we where met with amazing warm hugs and little kids asking us everything about everything (Elisha, Ezekiel, and blaze….who didn’t talk nor did Ezra) and a little runt-y dog named day-oh (or maybe dai-oo) Liz’s mom was also here till yesterday and was really nice and talkative.

We did a bunch of last minute shopping and ate dinner, and phoenix went to the prayer room while I unpacked. The next day we woke up at 5 am and went to the prayer room to catch Jon Thurlow’s 6am set, which rocked my core. there is such a grace in the prayer room to receive the spirit and revelation and to freely give out worship.

(computer just died) more to come/)
